sit rep

So I didn't spend Free Comic Book Day in the drug and booze induced stupor that I previously suggested. It was more like Super Bowl Sundays when I was a kid...I spent most of it doing chores. I'm not complaining, over all it was a pretty good day. I told myself, No beer or World of Warcraft bfore 8 pm. That way I would, you know, do stuff.
I woke up, ate breakfast, got high and went to the gym. I still have about two weeks left of free membership there before I'm all done and going 45 minutes to an hour on the elliptical does make me feel pretty good. Then I took the bus to Arcane to get my comics. I was bummed to discover that we, the people, were limited to three free comics! Boo! I understand the business of it, but it's not like there was a huge crowd. What's going to happen to all those free copies of Jughead? They're going to sit there.
So then it was back home to study some logic. I was worried because I didn't do so hot on the last quiz, but in only about an hour I caught up and took the next quiz. There was only one question and here was my answer:

1. C > D
2. D > (E & F)
3. (E & F) > G
4. (~C > F) & (A > S)
5. ~G & A_____ / (F v S) & ~G
6. ~G (5)simp
7. D > G (2)(3)HS
8. C > G (1)(7)HS
9. ~C (8)(6)MT
10. ~C v A (9)ADD
11. F v S (4)(9)CD
12. (F v S) & ~G (6)(11)CONJ

See that part that says "(4)(9)CD"? That 9 should be a 10. I still got full credit, though! It was about 3 or 4 pm, but I said "Screw it, I rock," and started on my beer. And My laundry.

Yesterday had to be the biggest laundry day I ever had. I did five, count 'em, five loads. So yeah, pretty much everything I own. Reds got separated, whites got bleached, and only one load, the last one, has gone unfolded.
While I was doing this I was also making some awesome hamburgers and mashed potatoes, but the butter I used in the potatoes had absorbed a bunch of fridge odors. This made them taste like shit and I had to throw them out. Luckily I had veggies to eat, too. During this time my roommate Cesar and friends Amber and Christina were having a craft/sewing day thing here. It was fun to see them and the stuff they make.
Oh yeah, I got my stimulus money, too! Woo Hoo! I'm not spending any of it until I budget things yet, but I immediately put $100 in savings as some sort of insurance.
And I got to watch the fourth season on Curb Your Enthusiasm, compliments of my co-worker Pete. He might bring me season five today. I also painted the picture of the fire hydrant in the previous post. Played Warcraft with Steve2 for like an hour. um...I guess that's it.
It was a really good day with one exception. My man is out of town visiting family and I'm not too macho to say I miss him terribly. I'm glad he's getting to spend time with his kin, though.

I miss you, too, babe. Family is racist, homophobic, sexist, and xenophobic. Its times like these I tell myself, "I'm glad I'm adopted." And then I tell myself, "Only one more day."
See you Tuesday night.
